Examples & keyboard help
Try a calculation, then make it your own.
- Angles
- DEG uses degrees; RAD uses radians. Inverse sine (sin⁻¹) is asin, not 1/sin.
- Percentages
- % divides by 100. 200 × 10% = 20; 200 + 10% = 200.1.
- Fractions & precision
- Exact rational results support fractions. Other results use ≈. Display precision changes rounding, not the stored value.
- Keyboard
- Enter or = calculates. Ctrl/Cmd + Z undoes an edit; Shift + Z redoes it. Use parentheses to group terms. EE inserts an exponent, such as 6.02e23.

Function reference: logbase(2, 8) means log base 2 of 8; root(8, 3) means the cube root of 8. Use ncr(n, r) for combinations and npr(n, r) for permutations. Factorials accept whole numbers from 0 to 170. Calculations use finite real numbers.
